ArcGIS Drone2Map Pricing

ArcGIS Drone2Map is the desktop solution for your GIS drone mapping needs. Choose the license that fits your requirements. ArcGIS Drone2Map Standard enables users to easily process overlapping nadir images to create accurate 2D orthomosaics, digital surface models (DSMs), and digital terrain models (DTMs). If you need 3D outputs, Drone2Map Advanced includes everything in Drone2Map Standard and adds the ability to create 3D reality mapping products such as point clouds and textured meshes from nadir and oblique images all processed with the powerful SURE for ArcGIS. As a premium application, either license type requires the Creator user type or the GIS Professional user type. Drone2Map fully integrates with the ArcGIS system and will work with either ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise.

ArcGIS Online

Build interactive web maps with ArcGIS Online, Esri's web-based mapping software. Gain new perspectives and enhanced details as you interact with data, zoom in, and search on the map. Use smart, data-driven mapping styles and intuitive analysis tools to gain location intelligence. Work effectively across your organization by collaboratively building and using maps. Share your insights with specific people or the entire world. As a premium application, Drone2Map requires a Creator or GIS Professional user type for your organization.

ArcGIS Pro

ArcGIS Pro supports data visualization; advanced analysis on your drone imagery; and authoritative data maintenance in 2D, 3D, and 4D. It supports data sharing across a suite of ArcGIS products such as ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise and enables users to work across the ArcGIS system through Web GIS. Drone2Map allows you to easily open your project in ArcGIS Pro with a click of a button. As a premium application, Drone2Map requires a Creator or GIS Professional user type for your organization.

ArcGIS Enterprise

Drone2Map works with ArcGIS Enterprise, complete geospatial software, on infrastructure you control and manage. Contact us if you need to purchase ArcGIS Enterprise. As a premium application, Drone2Map requires a Creator or GIS Professional user type for your organization.

Frequently asked questions

Does Drone2Map work only with a specific type of drone?

ArcGIS Drone2Map is designed to be generic for all drones. Data can be collected by any flight control app, but we recommend using the Site Scan Flight LE app. When collecting data from a drone not supported by Site Scan Flight LE, there are two important details:

  1. The drone must collect latitude, longitude, and altitude. Most commercially available drones automatically add this information to the image metadata (the EXIF header of each image file), and this is read by Drone2Map.
  2. Drone2Map must also have information about the camera—specifically, the lens focal length and sensor size. Nearly all modern cameras are supported in an existing camera database and this database is updated frequently, so any new cameras not currently in the database should be supported within a short time frame. If your camera is not included in the database, Drone2Map will attempt to create the required information from information in the EXIF header.

How do I try the software?

What training is available for Drone2Map?

Getting Started with ArcGIS Drone2Map is a free course from Esri Training that focuses on best practices to capture and validate your drone imagery. The Learn ArcGIS lesson, Get started with ArcGIS Drone2Map, teaches you how to transform drone imagery into 3D GIS data. You'll use Drone2Map to add drone images to a map, create 3D data from 2D imagery, and share 3D data to ArcGIS Online. Additional Esri training courses will be available in the future.
